Ontario Paving Brick Co. went into production in 1894. In 1906 it was the only paving brick company in Ontario. The paving brick was used in the construction of the Union Stock Yards. In 1906, Ontario Paving Brick Co. produced five million paving bricks and four million building bricks per year, along with an unspecified number of sewer and sidewalk bricks.
