Booth Brick Company manufactured bricks using clay from deposits found in the Wilson Ave. area, in Toronto. The Booth Brick Company was operating in full-swing in the late 1940’s when the Humberlea community residences were built just after WWII.

As the clay deposits dwindled, the brick factory ultimately closed down in the late 1960s.
